
and i'm making the same one for michael, except charcoal grey with a thin blue stripe. He better like it. this is what i've got so far.

It amazes me that i can take this flat piece of knitted fabric and make a couple of exceedingly simple stitches to shape it into a hat. sewing it up didn't even require the yarn needle i thought i'd need, i was able to just weave the yarn through. easy peasy. i'm just amazed that i can make anything at all.
my next project should be to learn intarsia. I'm scared.
The bird tore a chunk out of my hand this morning. I'm trying to knit this hat without getting blood or neosporin on it. it's slowing me down.
I'm hungry, and all i have is ingredients.
