want to play with my wii? is not as dirty as it sounds

Made a late-night trip to the Wal-Mart (yes, i am continuing my rapid descent into white trashiness) for crayons, picture frames, and motorcycle oil. Forgot to buy the crayons, which means my tattoo coloring book will have to wait. I did make a stop in the electronics section to look at DS games, and out of the corner of my eye, noted that the space for Wii consoles was not as empty as usual. In fact, there were five Wiis sitting there, all nonchalant style. Just like, "oh, us? you've been looking? we've been here the whole time, what are you talking about?"

Having just recieved a paycheck and canceled my cable tv, I couldn't resist the temptation. The employee who unlocked the case was as shocked as I was to discover any Wii in stock, and said they usually only got a couple a month.

Now, I'm poor but happy. Charles is playing Medal of Honor, and I've got Wii sports to keep me entertained all day tomorrow. woo hoo!

Still wish I had those crayons, though.

Made it to work and back riding on the freeway today, and didn't die. Miracles happen! I'm getting more comfortable every time I ride. I just wish it wasn't so hot. By the time I get to work, I'm dripping with sweat.

My boss and her husband got me a bell for the bike, for luck. That was quite sweet of them.

A tentative - very tentative - date has been planned - November 1, 2009. Keep your schedules clear. :)

If we can still stand each other by then, anyway.
