- Hunter S. Thompson
In the same article, he proceeds to call Bush "cruel", "evil", a "treacherous little freak", and a "golem". He also had quite a few interesting words about Ralph Nader.
I've gained a whole new respect for Mr. Thompson.
I feel blessed in that i have the pleasure of seeing the sun rise almost ever single morning, without the annoying pain of having to wake up that early. It's a wonderful thing.
The skies hold the promise of rain, and that's enough to make this day a pleasant one for me.
Work didn't suck last night, amazingly enough. We were caught up and clean by the end of my shift, and i actually got out a little bit early. It should have ben a bad night, but it really wasn't. A cat hit my hand so hard that the bruise from the impact hurts more than the scratch. We had to take x-rays on a huge, cranky mastiff. A chihuahua (cute, but mean as hell) managed to pee more pee than i thought could come from a chihuahua, and, well, it's a good thing i had a spare set of scrubs in my car after that. Mean cats kept coming in, one after the other, and i took care of them all as the resident mean-cat specialist. But I worked with people i like, and everything was kept under control, so it was a not bad night at work.
today i sleep, and write a paper and try to find a way to print it, and hopefully get a chance to talk to michael at some point.
my existence is an extraordinarily lonely one, more so every day.
and i love email from old friends.
