"So how much do you all charge to see my dog right now?"
and i quote the price - emergency room visit, four am - $100. A little steep, i know, but it is what it is and we're not the only game in town. We're just better.
"Well, see, i have a problem. I don't have any cash right now. Do you offer payments?"
So i go into my check/credit card/care credit spiel, and none of my options appeal to this guy.
"No, no, no. You know what! I've been to you guys three times before, and every time, you'ree too expensive! I'm not brining my dog back there!" CLICK!
So I turn to LP, the doctor sitting next to me in the office. "So, the rude asshole with no money isn't going to bring his dog in tonight. Are you as sad as i am?"
I love when people get pissed at me because they have no money. I know it sucks, but i can't do anything about it.
Purl is at my mom's house, and she loves being out of the hospital. My parents love her, but i think my mom may stick to her guns about not keeping her. People are already asking about adopting her, which is great, but i can't say that i haven't gotten attached. If i had any way to keep her, i would.
This is what sunset looked like a few days ago ...
She was all traumatized at first, but quickly got used to it.
oooh, and my new cell phone should come by UPS today. I'm tingly with excitement.
